Prof. Dr. Fatih Kocabaş

Prof. Kocabaş earned his PhD in Genetics and Development from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. His research focuses on translational molecular medicine, specifically the development of small-molecule modulators for cancer drug targets and the application of CRISPR/Cas9 systems in hematopoiesis and stem cell biology. He currently serves as a Full Professor and leads innovative research in genome engineering.

Batuhan M. Kalkan, PhD Dr. Kalkan received his PhD from Koç University. He specializes in biomedical engineering and the design of biological systems. His research explores the intersection of engineering principles and genetic modification to develop new bio-materials and therapeutic platforms.

Cihan Aydın, PhD Dr. Aydın earned his PhD from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His expertise lies in molecular biology and the development of gene-based therapeutics. He focuses on the mechanisms of genetic regulation and the optimization of viral and non-viral delivery systems for genome editing.

Cihan Taştan, PhD Dr. Taştan received his PhD from New York University (NYU). He is a specialist in genetic engineering and immunology, with extensive experience in developing CRISPR-based therapies and CAR-T cell technologies. His work bridges the gap between basic molecular immunology and clinical gene-editing applications.

Ener Çağrı Dinleyici, MD Professor Dinleyici is a clinician-scientist at Eskişehir Osmangazi University. He brings a medical perspective to the board, with research interests in pediatrics, vaccine development, and the impact of the microbiota on human health and genetic expression.

Galip Servet Aslan, PhD Dr. Aslan earned his PhD at Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. He is a specialist in structural biology and protein engineering. His expertise is vital for understanding the biochemical interactions between gene-editing nucleases and their DNA targets.

Gülen Esken, PhD Dr. Esken holds a PhD from Hacettepe University and a BSc from Paris University. Her research spans molecular biology and cell signaling, with a focus on the cellular responses to genetic interventions and the development of stable modified cell lines.

Kaan Yılancıoğlu, PhD Dr. Yılancıoğlu earned his PhD from Sabancı University. He is an expert in bioinformatics and drug discovery. His work utilizes computational biology to understand antibiotic resistance and to screen for novel genetic modulators in complex biological systems.

Medine Karadağ-Alpaslan, PhD Based at Ondokuz Mayıs University, Dr. Karadağ-Alpaslan focuses on medical genetics and cytogenetics. Her research investigates the chromosomal basis of genetic diseases and the application of molecular techniques in clinical diagnostics.

Merve Aksöz, PhD Dr. Aksöz received her PhD from the University of Oxford. Her research focuses on functional genomics and the molecular basis of rare genetic disorders. She is dedicated to advancing the understanding of how precise gene alterations can be utilized in clinical settings.

Merve Uslu, PhD Dr. Uslu serves at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital following her doctoral studies. She focuses on pediatric oncology and the genetic drivers of childhood cancers, investigating how genome engineering can provide new avenues for precision medicine.

Oktay Kaplan, PhD Dr. Kaplan holds a PhD from University College Dublin. He specializes in molecular genetics and the use of model organisms to study human genetic diseases. His research explores the molecular pathways involved in neurodegeneration and the functional consequences of genomic variations.

Osman Doluca, PhD Dr. Doluca completed his PhD at Massey University, New Zealand. His research is centered on biotechnology and molecular sensors, with a particular focus on aptamer technology and the structural biology of nucleic acids. He contributes expertise in the design of molecular tools for genetic diagnostics.

Sezer Akgöl, PhD Dr. Akgöl holds a PhD from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität (LMU) Munich. His work involves evolutionary genetics and the study of genomic diversity. He provides insights into the long-term implications of genetic modification within various biological populations.
